We Have a Whale!
Fourteen Stadium High School students have worked since September to articulate a 23-foot juvenile humpback whale skeleton. It is finished (!) and can be seen for the first time during our December 15 Third Thursday. Come see this spectacular skeleton...you will definitely be amazed!

The Seaport Education Staff will offer WHALE of FUN hands-on family activities from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. Activities include: Whale Sizes (see how HUGE 9 different whales are), ID my Fluke, Make a Doral Fin Hat...to take home, Hear Whale Sounds, and Order up my Verts...what a puzzle!

New ART Exbhit
Ghost Ship, a new art installation by Tacoma artist, Matthew Olds, is a large-scale, site-specific artwork in the Seaport's contemporary gallery. This exhibit was inspired by the historic tradition and lore of the shipwreck. From the Titanic to the Lusitania to the USS Arizona, the sea-wrecked ship holds a universal fascination in the imagination.

Holiday concert and Sing along - Enjoy a hot beverage, sing along to Christmas carols, meet artist Matthew Olds, and immerse yourself in seafaring history at the Northwest's premiere maritime venue.
