A Foss Waterway Seaport member and is a vital part of the work that we do and gets enhanced access the Seaport. The Seaport relies on individual donations and memberships for 20% of our operating budget which covers the day-to-day expenses of our building and its dedicated staff, allowing us to serve our community! Your membership supports providing year round free museum admission for everyone, science education to thousands of students annually, free community events, and developing new and exciting exhibits that tell the story of local maritime history.

Membership Levels:
Student/Senior/Military – membership benefits
Individual – membership benefits
Family – membership benefits extended to up to two named adults and all household youth plus two additional guest passes and one Family pass (admits two adults and up to four youth)
Family+NARM – Family benefits plus NARM membership
Pilot+NARM – All previous benefits plus two additional guest passes and one additional family pass
Captain+NARM – All previous benefits plus two additional guest passes, one additional family pass and an opportunity to join a quarterly museum tour led by our Executive Director
Admiral+NARM – All previous benefits plus an invitation to an annual dinner with our Executive Director
What is NARM?
NARM is the North American Reciprocal Museum Association. A NARM level Seaport membership extends your membership to over 1300 organizations across six countries. When you walk into a fellow NARM institution with your Seaport membership card, you get that institution’s membership benefits. The NARM Association boasts an array of top-notch institutional members from art and history museums to botanical gardens, children’s museums, science centers, and more. Local NARM institution include the Tacoma Art Museum, Museum of Glass, and the Museum of History and Industry. There are institutions to choose from in all fifty states and more added weekly! Become a Seaport Sustainer!
Seaport Sustainer membership allows you to split the cost of a Seaport membership into monthly payments. There is no automatic expiration date, so you no longer have to worry about when you have to renew. Your benefits are always available with no wasted paper or postage. While offering you more flexibility and affordability, it also gives the Seaport a steady stream of income we can count on throughout the year! Follow the instructions entitled "To begin your Sustaining Membership payments" below.
