Foss Waterway Seaport extends facility rental discounts to non-profit organizations, active military personnel, Tacoma residents, and annual Seaport members.
Built in 1900, featuring one-of-a-kind beauty of our historic Balfour Dock building with its dramatic glass wall and intricate bridge truss-style ceilings soaring 55 feet above the exhibit hall floor with direct access to the beautiful esplanade on the Thea Foss Waterway. The Seaport hosts two distinct event spaces including the Bamford Chart Room, ideal for meetings and small parties, and the North Hall which beams with nautical charm and is ideal for larger groups in the heart of the museum.
Is ideal for events up to 425 guests (seated) or 500 reception style; our flexible North Hall houses historic maritime artifacts and exhibits, adding unique facets for event guests to enjoy. The floor to ceiling glass wall offers natural lighting and views of Commencement Bay.
